Designer playhouse 'meant to be' for winner
On the lakefront at Grand Marais Village, a designer playhouse prize has found its permanent home.
Jodene Stotski filled out the winning prize draw ticket at the Winnipeg Home and Garden Show presented by REALTORS® last weekend at the RBC Convention Centre.
She says many children, including up to 10 nieces and nephews will enjoy the playhouse, and grandchildren will come along in the future, she said. She and her husband have teen and young adult children now.
"Our cabin gets passed down from generation to generation," Stotski said.
When the 3000+ pound house was delivered to the lake by tow truck last Monday, people noticed its design matches the family's four-season lake house.
"It's on a huge lot and it's not hidden. It actually looks like they were meant to be together. Both of the designs are very tall, modern and contemporary."
The one-of-a-kind prize was courtesy of  REALTORS®, Renovations Plus, and Everitt Design and Associates.
