my washer overflowed yesterday and its all good because its in the basement, unfinished area and the drainage is designed for it but i soaked it up with towels and cleaned the drain with a snake on a drill (awesome ) https://www.ridgid.com/us/en/power-spin the rigid power spin. then i took the towels and put them in the washer to wait for the drain cycle to run. i put it on heavy duty because i had mats in there too and its a very long cycle. but it is amazing what we take for granted. the washer runs through a lot ff pre programmed steps i never thought of before, each change of direction and speed are presumably calculated and programmed into the machine to deliver clean clothes. I can modify the temp, speed, water level by pushing a button and i have no complaints with our maytag 5000 series washer dryer. www.maytag.ca thay we got on sale at www.dufresne.ca
the snake worked and i can leave assured my technology will work in harmony once more - and i think i know how those socks go missing now.
