Professional Background

I gained rich experience from a variety of sectors: government, not-for-profit, and private (from small business to large corporations). On top of Canadian experience, I also have the benefit of international exposure.

Prior to becoming a realtor, I have worked in Canada for many years with multinational corporations, including Canadian Pacific Railway and IBM Global, mainly in the project management and asset management areas. My skills and experience in managing entire IT asset portfolios of companies come in handy in the real estate business - user needs assessment, customer service, supplier relations, contract negotiations, asset acquisition and maintenance, portfolio management...etc. all can be put to good use in trying to get the best bang for the buck for my clients!

Personal Background

Originally from Hong Kong, I've made Canada my home for over twenty years. Having lived in Scarborough, North York and Richmond Hill, and worked in Downtown Toronto, Markham and Thornhill, I am very familiar with the Greater Toronto Area.

I am currently married to David Cohen, with three children.

Community Involvement

I strongly believe in giving back to the community. Over the years I have volunteered much of my time to non-profit organizations, from social services (Board of Directors of Scarborough Distress Centre and S.E.A.S. Centre, both United Way agencies), to cultural (TV Ontario's GTA Advisory Council), to educational (School Council).

I also enjoy interacting with people from different ethnic backgrounds. As such, I devoted efforts to promoting diversity and racial harmony. I served on the Race Relations Advisory Committee of the York Region District School Board, as well as pioneered a Cultural Diversity Committee and associated programs at a local school that earned it an Anti-Racism and Ethnocultural Equity Award.
