Events at Haliburton Forest
Snowmobile Poker Run
Saturday, February 16, 2013, 08:00 am - 05:00 pm
Come support a great cause!
This popular fundraising event is now in its 24th year and has raised more than $150,000.00 for a local charity.
Participants ride the trails from shelter cabin to shelter cabin collecting tokens along the way. These shelter cabins provide a wonderful opportunity to warm up, share a story with a friend and have a warm coffee, hot chocolate or even a plate of pancakes. At the end of the day tokens are turned in for a draw of a Poker hand. Top prize will be awarded a new snowmobile.
All proceeds will go to the Haliburton Volunteer Fire Department for all their selfless efforts.
Fee: $50.00 per person plus HST
Included: Day pass to the Haliburton Forest snowmobile trails
Haliburton Forest is the only wholly privately owned snowmobiling operation in the world. Its 60,000 acres of forest wilderness with 50 lakes and numerous ponds and creeks make it a snowmobiling wonderland. It was recently rated by industry critics as one of the top-10 snowmobiling destinations in North America. To quote the report: "Nothing in the world compares to it!"
