Kelowna BMX President Recognized With Civic Award
Doug Nicholas from Sport Kelowna is pleased to announce that Eric Oyen, President of the Kelowna BMX Club, has been presented the Volunteer Sport Administrator Award at the recent Sport Leadership Forum at UBCO.
Eric, club members and volunteers led the Kelowna BMX Club to its most successful and exciting season to date.
The club hosted a Provincial Qualifier race in May and followed that with a National race in August that saw some of the fastest BMXers from the Pacific Northwest race at the BMX track in Rutland.
