Rutlanders.ca Blog Post - Kelowna BMX - Firestorm Nationals - Aug08
Excerpt from www.RUTLANDERS.CA - Rutland's Community Website:
If you live anywhere near the Kelowna BMX track at the Rutland sports complex, you would have known about the ABA Nationals BMX races there last weekend. There were lots of people and tons of action all weekend long.
I took the kids to watch on Sunday morning and we were amazed! This was a first-class event. Over 500 riders from all over the place including 20 professionals came out for the three day event. Guys and girls from as young as 4 to as old fifty-something (i'm guessing). A lot of these kids have some big talent and the races are intense.

There were tons of sponsors and many volunteers. The Kelowna BMX Club did a great job putting this on - I'd love to see it again next year.
Club races go every Wednesday evening and admission to watch is always free.
