The Chinese Laundry comes to Rutland
Excerpt from www.RUTLANDERS.ca - Rutland's Community Website:
As a long-time Kelowna boy, I remember the days when my parents would load my brother and I into the Country Squire wagon and make the road trip to Peachland (which I thought was really far away back then) where we would eat at the Chinese Laundry Restaurant. I remember this hot-spot was something of a cult-classic among the locals back then; and it has definitely stood the test of time. My clearest childhood memory was the big round tables with the wooden lazy-susan in the centre. I thought these were the coolest.
Since then, the Chinese Laundry has made its way into Kelowna, and they have just opened a brand new restaurant in Rutland. We got take-out there last week and food was great. I'm not a Chinese food expert, but the ingredients seemed really fresh and the food was hot and ready for pick-up. The restaurant is also newly renovated and super clean.

The Chinese Laundry is located on Highway 33 between to the Autogas service station and Asher Place. For contact info, click here to visit the Rutland Community Directory.
