November - Remembrance Day and Cottage stuff

  • November 5, 1901 - Henry Ford received a patent for the "motor carriage."  Thank goodness or we'd be walking to the cottage!
  • In November, white-tailed deer bucks get aggressive during the fall rut
  • November 11 - LEST WE FORGET - Remembrance Day in Canada, Veterans Day (US) - Please take time to remember that "Freedom is not free" and "Sacrifice is selfless."  Remember the Canadian heros who died for our freedom and remember the Canadian Heros who fought and lived through war so that we may enjoy the lives we live today.  Thank you Veterans.
