The “Trees for Toys” project is a fun charitable program where a Christmas tree is given away, free to anyone bringing a toy that can be donated to needy children in the community. Our focus is going to be on teenagers this year as they are often forgotten.
The inaugural “Trees for Toys” will give away 100 Christmas trees on Saturday December 12, 2009 10:00 a.m. in the Century 21 Miller office parking lot 467 Speers Road Oakville.
The event is designed to focus on the true spirit of Christmas – GIVING! And in turn, reduce the need for toys in the local community. This is a WIN, WIN situation. Everyone involved will come out ahead, the clients get a free tree, children get a toy at a needy time and any extra trees left over are donated to charity. This is a way we all can give back to the community! Santa will be there, along with festive treats, colouring contest, food and coffee, face painting and music.
Join us at Saturday on December 12, 2009 10:00 a.m. in the Century 21 Miller parking lot and you get a beautiful tree standing in your home for 30 entertaining days while guests comment on the tree and toy donation.
