It was an emotional reunion to witness.  A mother who hasn't seen her son since October ran out to him after he had just climbed out of a Canadian Forces Snowbird at the St.Thomas Municipal Airport.

Beverlie Seal, who lives in Union, was allowed to guide her son Captain Padruig MacIntosh, and his jet into its parking spot on Thursday afternoon with the assistance of another team member already on the ground.  Seal say's she is very proud of her son.

Capt McIntosh, a Windsor native has been with the Snowbirds for 3 years now, says it was great to see his mother guiding his plane after landing.

This is McIntosh's last year with the Snowbirds but he plans to stay on with the Canadian Forces for years to come. - although he does hope he will be able to move back to Ontario to be closer to his family.
