Talks have broken off between Cami workers and GM Canada as the automaker has refused to offer the same cash it has to other workers.

The automaker is regusing to "pattern" bargaining for Cami, its busiest Canadian Plant, as it did to its Oshawa workers, saying it wants to lower costs at the Ingersoll automaker, said sources close to the talks.

"They will not offer "pattern" and it makes no sense to us." said one worker, adding it's furstrating they're being offered less than other GM workers.  Other GM workers got a signing bonus in each year of the deal, as well as a Christmas bonus, an a longer ramp up to maximum wages, and Cami workers have asked for the same deal.

No talks have been scheduled and will likely not be held this month, said Mike Van Boekel, chairperson of CAW Local 88.
