OPP LOOKING FOR STUDENTS TO WORK DURING THE SUMMER

A great opportunity for students this summer interested in a career in policing.  The Elgin OPP is looking for students to work with their Marine Unit and assist OPP Officers patroling the waters or Lake Erie.  Elgin OPP Officer Troy Carlson explains.

Eligible applicants must be between the ages of 18-24 and must possess a G2 drivers licence.  Pleasure Craft Operaters Card and current 1st Aid/CPR Certificate.  All summer jobs also require applicants to have "student" status which is defined as someone currently enrolled in secondary schol, or post-secondary institutions or within six months of graduation.  Online appications will be accepted as of today (March *th) to March 22nd.  For more information visit:  www.gojobs.on.ca/SEP.asp
