Paid parking in Port Stanley will continue. The pilot project this summer was deemed a success, according to Central Elgin Mayor Bill Walters.
Walters added the municpality netted about $47,000 from paid parking this summer - not as much as they'd hoped for, but bad weather played a huge part in that. He added the parking charges for next year have not yet been determined for next year. The enforced charges were met with mixed feeling from residents and beach goers.
