Bradford West Gwillimbury Real Estate Report January 2014

  Well, 2014 is starting off the year on the slower side sales wise, but prices continue to soar. Bradford West Gwillimbury has only seen 28 sales in the month of January compared to 39 in December 2013.  Here is a break- down of what has sold this past month.

      The fact that only 28 properties sold in the month of January, with an average price of $457,864.00, is really due to the lack of inventory. This month's average is 5.5% higher than December 2013's average of $434,059.00. Sales in the detached category have soared to above $500,000.00, and even if you exclude the one estate property, prices are still over $490,000.00 for the month. Here is the breakdown of all of the detached homes that have sold in January 2014.

     Mostly detached homes have sold in the month of January, with a total of 19, and the majority were 2 storeys. Only 2 bungalows have sold, and the average price reflects that one was a larger estate property. Here is a breakdown of the 2 storey homes that sold in January 2014.

       The 5 bedroom plus 2 car garage has topped the charts as prices continue to climb in Bradford West Gwillimbury in January.
