Century 21 Heritage Has Heart Newmarket
Sales Representatives and Staff of Century 21 Heritage Group Ltd. Newmarket participated in their first of four Big Bike rides for The Heart and Stroke Foundation in their Heritage Has Heart campaign 2013.
Century 21 Newmarket put their heart into helping when volunteers donated their time to fundraising and participating in the Big Bike event. Captains Sue Philips Sales Representative Newmarket and Jill Earl-Preston Century 21 Staff of Newmarket recruited eager members. On Friday, June 7th Century 21 Newmarket riders set out pedalling a 29 seat Big Bike on Newmarket streets, including Yonge.
With much enthusiasm and excitement Century 21 Newmarket was able to collectively raise $2550.00 dollars. Altogether that day the 7 participating teams rose over $19, 000 dollars towards heart health of the $20,000 that they were hoping to raise that day.
With top fundraisers Ruth-Anne Douris Sales Representative Newmarket, taking the top spot for most money raised at the event. She was followed by her colleagues, Deborah Ingram Sales Representative Newmarket and Diana Arter Sales Representative Newmarket who took second and third place. All participants made a substantial contribution of donations, involvement and enthusiasm towards the Heart & Stroke Foundation’s ultimate goal.
The Big Bike Newmarket would like to sincerely thank all those who supported them in their Century 21 Heritage Has Heart campaign this year, to raise funds for The Heart and Stroke Foundation. Not to be forgotten a special thank you to Daryl Turner the Big Bike Driver, who inspired enthusiasm on the loud speaker as Century 21 pedalled the streets of Newmarket as well as Police Auxiliary who graciously supported the event.
