Well, school is back and the traffic is heavy once again. But today we have a heat wave in Ontario, possibly Indian Summer; but whatever, it can stay around until mid-December, I won't complain. By then that should give all you good folks time to do your fall check list of cleaning up the yard and flower gardens, putting the bulbs in for next spring, cleaning up leaves, as well as checking eavestroughs to ensure free flowing, and downspouts are draining away from the foundation of your home. Check windows for sealing and doors for drafts. Time to have an air tight home before Old Man Winter hits.
Also, if you haven't had your furnace checked, now would be a good time, before you need to turn it on. Make sure you have the snow brushes, scrapers and shovels found well before you need them some morning when you are running late.
It might be nice to take in some local Fall Fairs that happen at this time of the year. I always remember it being a great family outing.
Houses are still selling, and mortgage rates did increase a fraction, so if you are thinking of moving, now would be a good time, while we have buyers on the move. Remember, I give Air Miles for all those buying and selling home transactions. Let's talk and discuss whether this is a good time to make a move.
