Here is a little story that I found to be quite interesting. An employee who was collecting WSIB was seen walking towards the Court and when he got to the court steps he pulled out a cane and walked the remainder of the steps with use of the cane. During the hearing, the judge observed this man's "disability", and therefore acquitted him of having to pay any child support. The man, having gotten too excited with the judgement, got up and walked out of the courtroom, forgetting his cane. Shortly after, having realised this, he returned to the courtroom and collected his cane, holding onto every possible object he could for "support".
I found this story enticing because it is another example of people abusing the justice system, and the judge simply going through the motions without assessing the reality of the situation, and ignoring the other party.
