Overnight Street Parking Permits Required in Richmond Hill

The Town of Richmond Hill Requires Overnight Street Parking Permits

From December 1st until March 31st 2015 The Town of Richmond Hill has NO overnight street parking without a permit. Between the hours of 1 am and 7 am, residents require a permit to park alongside the street overnight.
The Town of Richmond Hill’s permit price has increased this year to $5.00 plus HST per license plate. Each household can purchase a maximum of 25 parking permits per household per year.
An overnight parking permit will allow you to park on the street between the hours of 7 am until 6:59 am the following day. The only exception is in the event of a snowfall, where plows are working to clear roadways.
The Town of Richmond Hill refers to this as a “snow event”.  If parking interferes with snow removal, vehicle owners could be fined $75.00 and could face being towed. It is up to vehicle owner to be aware of snowfall and when plows are operating to clear roadways.

Temporary Parking permits can be purchased online here or in person at:

Richmond Hill’s Main Municipal Office

225 East Beaver Creek Road 3rd floor Parking Control,

During regular business hours:

Monday through Friday between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.

Please have a proof of address ready prior to purchase.
