Forest Hill is a neighbourhood on the west side of Kitchener.  Homes in this area are a variety of older and younger houses, the oldest being wartime homes built in the late 40's, the newest only having been built within the past couple of years.  Since the majority of houses built in this neighbourhood were built well before the 2000's, this provides Kitchener with an area that has a more mature look to it, with fully developed greenery as well as a collection of homes with very different and, at times, quirkey looks.  The large variety of prices of homes in this neighbourhood make Forest Hill a well sought after area for any family/single person/older couple to move into, the houses having been sold in the past 12 months in this part of town ranging anywhere from the high $100 000s to around $560 000.   This neighbourhood is most definitely not a cookie cutter subdivision of Kitchener.
