The Province of Ontario passed a law last week making an Energy Audit mandatory when selling a home.

The new rules will be phased in slowly over the next few months and years. Homeowners can get off the hook only if the potential buyer of their home waive the right to an energy audit in writing.

The incentives and tax rebates available from both Provincial and Federal governmemnts are available through their respective websites.
