Canadian Blood Services’ Partners for Life Program: Conexus Saskatoon to donate 50 units

On Friday, March 26 Conexus staff and real estate agents will board the Canadian Blood Services bus for their first round of donations in the Partners for Life program. The Conexus Saskatoon has pledged to donate 50 units in 2010 to compliment the 175 unit pledge by Conexus Regina staff.

The Saskatoon efforts are headed by Rachel Gerein from CENTURY 21 Conexus Realty Ltd, Stacy Schroeder from Conexus Insurance and Bobbi-Ann Dunn from Conexus Credit Union. Participation in the program will contribute to the Conexus 2010 Balanced Scorecard objectives and can help save up to 150 lives.

Demand for blood and blood products remains high and are critical components of countless life saving medical procedures. Saskatoon requires approximately 18,000 units of blood per year to ensure a safe and adequate blood supply. Check out the Partners for Life Achievement Report for the prairie provinces to see what great companies across Saskatchewan, Manitoba and western Ontario are doing to help save lives.
