Christmas Happenings in Vancouver!
'Tis the season to be jolly and busy enjoying all the best that Vancouver has to offer this Happening Holiday Season. For the little ones, Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas without the perennial favourite - The Bright Nights in Stanley Park Christmas Train. Running from Nov. 26 to Jan. 2, this is one of those rare family activities that is a s much fun for kids as it is for parents.
It's a glittering Winter Wonderland complete with hot chocolate and making gingerbread men . Don't miss it!
The Seventh Annual Rogers Santa Claus Parade is coming to town on Sunday, December 5th. The parade route starts at Broughton and Georgia and travels east along Georgia, turning south at Howe and finishing at Davie. Wear your warm water-proof clothes, be sure to check your weather forecast before venturing out - and Enjoy!
Another dazzling light display is always ready to behold at the Van Dusen Botanical Gardens Festival of Lights. Year after year - they never dissapoint. What with Santa's Living Room, Candy Cane lane and , of course Svend and Jens, the Scandinavian Christmas Elves who appear nightly in the Centre Court.
Christmas at Canada Place offers a rich variety of festive goings-on for the whole family. Breakfast with Santa has become a huge Family Favorite and this year the wonderfully restored Woodwards Christmas Window displays will be re-opened and a new Walking Tour of these restored windows will be available.
