 The Ghost Train at Stanley Park is a perennial favorite. This year it's

called, "Alice in Nightmareland!"

Accompany Alice and hold onto your head as you travel down the

rabbit hole into a dark forest filled with demonic playing cards, a

disturbed Caterpillar and a Queen with an axe to grind.

From October 15 to 31, Fright Nights takes over all of Playland.

Fright Nights at Playland is for the far out, freaked out, fun lovers of the Halloween spirit. Dare your friends to ride the roller coaster at night. Double dare yourself to step foot in one of the many horrifying haunted houses.

Miss it and be left in the dark.

Haunted Vancouver Trolley Tours

October 8 – November 1, 2010 join The Vancouver Trolley Company and Vancouver Police Museum for a haunted evening of murderous tales and infamous Vancouver hauntings.

As the night falls and shadows begin to appear, you will be whisked away by Trolley where you will see streets and homes, which seem normal, but if you look and listen close enough you will hear echoes of murders and other devastating events.

The pirates have docked at the Vancouver Aquarium and have given you permission to come aboard and experience Halloween as you never have before. 

Get Spooked with Skulls, Teeth and Creeps of the Deep

Explore the Vancouver Aquarium’s exclusive Skulls, Bones and Creeps of the Deep exhibit in the Underwater Dolphin Gallery.

Learn about the predator-prey life cycle among some of the most infamous creatures from B.C.’s wild coast. Peer inside the jaw of great white shark, dare to get up close to the skull of a killer whale! Glimpse life sized skeletons of a Pacific white-sided dolphin, Steller sea lion and a host of fascinating and spooky specimens.                                                              

 Parade of Lost Souls - Secret Souls Walk

  On Saturday, October 30th, at a mysterious locale (only to be revealed on the day), the Dusty Flowerpot crew will be enticing you into our back alleys, streets, and open spaces to awaken our neighbourly spirits.                                                                          

Come in costume, and in character!  Bring a flashlight, and your imagination – we’ll be telling this story together.  Residents in the area have been invited to transform their homes in order to set the stage with our artists.

Public Dreams will be hosting an interactive celebration at Britannia Community Centre, between 5pm and 9pm.  Start there to discover the location of the walks, or join our Facebook page, to receive insider tips!

Celebrate Halloween at Vancouver’s premiere club, the Commodore Ballroom, for this year’s Nightmare on Granville Street on October 31st .
