  First time home buyers were very active in June. Condos priced from $0-$400,000 were seeing the most activity in the Downtown Vancouver, East and Westside areas. With interest rates on the rise, buyers are getting busy buying! The Downtown condo market is in full swing with 24% sales ratio (2.4 in 10 homes selling) and the most popular sub area...YALETOWN with a 33.74% sales ratio. Sellers best bet: Selling condo's in Yaletown priced $0-$500,000. Buyers best bet: Homes $1mil-$1.25mil in Coal Harbor. 
 
 
The Greater Vancouver housing market continues to maintain a relative balance between the number of homes for sale and the number of people looking to purchase a home in the region today. June presented a balanced market, meaning that many of the key housing market indicators, such as price and volume are stable and  therefore conditions didn't tilt in favor of either buyers or sellers.Volume of homes sales currently is up 11.9% since June 2012.
