It was a lovely day in Vancouver today and while strolling through Yaletown it was clear that Spring had arrived. At any given moment 3-5 dogs were in sight on every corner. Cute little fluff balls and large dogs that rival the size of a small horse were out in full force.
Whoever your furry friend might be, it's nice to know the city has created a range of 'off-leash' parks for them to enjoy a little bit of freedom. One can be found in the heart of Yaletown on Richards St: Emery Barnes Park. If you want to venture beyond Downtown Vancouver, there are plenty of great places to explore and let you pet run free. Check out the City of Vancouver's website for more details. The City has hefty fines starting at $250 for those who aren't pet responsible, not fun and easy to avoid.
