Quebec City wants to bring back the NHL

Quebec City wants to build a new $400 million dollar arena in the hopes that they will bring back the NHL to the city.  Quebec City's mayor Mr. Regis Labeaume is working on a plan to build the new rink with help from the city, the province and the federal goverments.  Quebec City lost its NHL hockey team back in 1995 when they moved to Denver and became the Colorado Avalanche.  Last week the Mayor Regis Labeaume met with NHL commissioner Gary Bettman on his plan to finally bring a hockey team back to Quebec City.  You can read more about this interesting and ongoing story at http://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/story/2009/10/16/quebec-nordiques-colisee-cp.html
