Say good bye to your iced coffees, frappuccino, afternoon beers on the patio and long dry walks on the seawall. I'm sorry to tell you summer is gone we had a good run but, now its over the temperature is starting to drop and we are starting to see that Vancouver rain again so, get used to it.
The end of the summer season is a depressing time for most people but, I'm here to tell you its not all that bad especially if you live in or around Yaletown in, Vancouver, BC. Here is a list of whats to come and whats already in the neighborhood.
FOOD & DRINKS
Get off the patio its cold out there! stay warm and step into a local restaurant, bar or cafe and try the new fall specials.
With Halloween coming up its safe to say its the month of pumpkins and ghosts but, don’t be a ghost and try to stop by and show your face at many of the local restaurants, bars and cafe's offering a tasty pumpkin dish for a limited time.
Earls Kitchen + Bar 1095 Mainland St Vancouver, BC
The best pumpkin pie that has ever entered my mouth hands down! Get cozy inside the lounge or dining room and treat yourself to a cappuccino and a slice of pie.
$6.00 for Earls Pumpkin Pie with cinnamon sugar and whip cream
Starbucks 987-977 Mainland St Vancouver, BC
Unfortunately the iced coffee's and the fraps are going to have to wait for the next spring and summer unless you're crazy and want to catch a cold this fall but, I do have good news, The seasonal pumpkin spice latte is back!
I myself prefer a strong dark coffee but, I will make a exception when it comes to the pumpkin spice latte it truly is a masterpiece, its a great latte with the perfect amount of pumpkin spice topped with whip cream.
Pumpkin spice Latte; $5.00
I enjoy a nice long walk on the sea-wall as much as the next person but I think I speak for most people when I say getting cold and wet is not a fun way to spend your time walking around Yaletown. Here is a few Ideas that will keep you active and more importantly dry.
