The importance of pricing a home....

How would you like to net more money than you had originally thought?  I'm betting most people would be over the moon with excitement if they found themselves in this scenario.  One lucky homeowner in West Vancouver found herself in this position when she accepted $1,000,000 over her asking price!!!!  This is not a typo!!! ONE MILLION DOLLARS!!!  Wow!  The home went on the market on a Tuesdsay, and by Saturday, sold with 7 offers.  Here is a great example of pricing a home correctly! 

The recent August statistics that the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver released, stated once again “For sellers it’s critical to work with your REALTOR® to understand today’s market and to develop the best strategy for selling your home,” Klein said. “On average it’s taking about two months for a home to sell on the MLS® in Greater Vancouver today.”
