Vancouver Heritage - "Salt" building, South East False Creek Restoration

Learn more about Vancouver's Heritage.  Built at a time when False Creek's shoreline bristled with ship builders, steel fabricators and sawmills, this landmark heritage structure was was built to house a processing plant for salt. Now, the Salt Building is embarking on its next stage of life as an integral part of the Olympic Village.
