Community Involvement

A very important issue which arises often in dealing with my prospective clients relates to the community in which they may be moving. It is important for a real estate agent to know what features the community has to offer such as schools, shopping, transportation, culture etc. I make it my business to familiarize myself with the community so that I can properly inform my clients.

Community has always been important to me and I have been involved as a volunteer in my own community for many years including:

  • coach of minor hockey
  • Convenor of minor hockey
  • volunteer on the community garage sale event
  • VCOP - volunteer constable on patrol to ensure the safety of my community.

I am proud to say that I was awarded Volunteer of the Year for my role as Convenor.


Personal Interests

Since moving into Cote Saint-Luc I have always considered volunteering as a way of giving back to the community. I have been involved in the Cote Saint-Luc and Lac Saint Louis MInor Hockey program for more than 10 years. I was both convenor and president of Cote Saint-Luc Minor hockey. I was fortunate enough to have been chosen as Volunteer of the Year.

More recently I have been involved in many of the special events that take place in the community and am currently a team leader with the vCOP program (Volunteer Citizens On Patrol).

I have extensive business experience having run my own manufacturing plant for over 20 years.

This allows me to bring to any real estate situation superior skills in the following areas:

With the aging population, adult children are often the ones taking care of their parents' properties, either because their parents are moving to a retirement home or have passed away. I have had a lot of experience with dealing with this clientele whether they are living in or out of town. When I list a property for sale, I do an indepth analysis of the market and comparable homes sold in the area and combined with my experience, I am able to arrive at a realistic and fair asking price. My many years of business experience help me to negotiate with the buyer's agent to arrive at the best selling price. 

Selling a property entails a multitude of tasks. I will help you have a stressfree experience by helping you accomplish all that is required to get the property ready to sell. Not only do I provide relevant advice but can help in concrete ways with some of these items:

  • Staging - Decluttering is an important aspect. I have several reputable professionals to recommend
