A proposal for a new condo development has been submitted to the Town of Oakville.
Neilas Inc., a small scale, trendy condo development company based in Toronto, has put the bid forward. They are hoping to build two 10-story condominium buildings as well as some 2-story residential units at 54 and 60 Shepherd Road (beside Big Al's fish emporium on the south side of Shepherd).
The two buildings will offer 188 condo apartments, and have a modern, artsy look to them. There will be a variety of options in these 2 buildings, including 1 bedroom, 1 bedroom + den, 2 bedroom, 2 bedroom + den, and 3 bedroom suites.

I wonder if Oakville is ready for something this unique. I believe they chose a good location in Kerr Village, as the area has re-developed itself nicely in the past few years.
