Hundreds of freehold and condominium townhomes are to be built starting in the low $400,000's, giving people who until now may not have been able to afford a home in Oakville a chance to live in this great community. In addition to affordability, there are many features making these homes extremely popular amongst buyers including (depending on model) garages with inside access, rooftop terraces on about half of the Minto floor plans, floating vanities, marble counters, and oak strip floors.
The first phase release of homes saw over 90% of the 450 residences sold this spring, and developers are expecting the next phase to sell at a similar rate. Amanda Wilson Watkins, vice-president of marketing and sales for Minto said, "We had inclination it was going to be very popular, but to be able to almost completely sell out on the opening weekend, we weren’t expecting that,” says Ms. Wilson Watkins. “More than likely, we will sell out before we actually have a grand opening to the public.”
Occupancy is set to begin September 2016.
