Community Involvement

Janice is the Chair of the "Central Alberta Realtors Charitable  Foundation"

Janice is the founder of the "Home Program" in Red Deer, an education and down payment assistance program for first time home buyers.

Janice has volunteered on the "Red Deer Visitor & Convention Bureau" Board of Directors as well as the "City of Red Deer Canada Fit Week" Board of Diractors.

Janice is a Director of the Waskasoo Optimist Club

Janice volunteers her time at Canyon Ski Hill teaching elementary students to ski during their physical education classes

 

Personal Background

Janice is proud to be the 3rd member of her family to serve as President of the Red Deer Real Estate Board, following in the footsteps of her father and brother.

When not busy in Real Estate (which is rare) Janice likes to spend time with her family, skiing, camping, vacations to Mexico, or just family dinners. Janice has 4 children all in Red Deer, 2 married each with 2 beautiful children of their own.

Also following the tradition of Real Estate are 2 of Janice's sons Scott Bourke is a Mortgage Broker with Regional Mortgage in Red Deer and has been in the mortgage business for approx 7 years. Greg Bourke is a Home Inspector with Pillar to Post in Red Deer, the #1 inspection company in Central Alberta.
