While Greater Toronto Area REALTORS® reported condo sales and average price rebound in Q3, 2013, a growing number of buyers have restarted their search for a condominium apartment as they have found that condo ownership remains affordable despite the onset of stricter lending guidelines.

In the months ahead, let's take a look at different condo communities in Markham. 

During Q3 2013, Markham report 164 sales, with an average price of $357,860. Let's take a look at features and benefits of EKO NOA, which  is one of the larger condo communities at Warden/ Hwy 7.

What you want to know about this condo community:  At the Southwest corner of Warden and Hwy 7, the “eko” condo complex is part of a large development project built by Liberty Development Corporation. Located at the centre of Markham, this complex is just minutes away from Unionville High School, Markham Civic Centre, numerous corporate offices, shopping malls and plazas. The commercial complex “Liberty Square” is located right beside the “eko” condo complex, with doctor’s offices, dental offices, hair salons, branches of major banks, shops and restaurants all within walking distance. The “eko” condo complex consists of four buildings (55, 75 Town centre Blvd, 30 and 32 Clegg Rd). Residents of these four buildings have shared access to “Club Liberty”, located at 55 and 75 Town Centre Blvd, consisting of an outdoor sundeck, an indoor pool, a whirlpool, a workout studio, sauna, and a games room. At each building, there is a security desk with a part time attendant, a board room and meeting room, a party room, and an exercise centre. This is a very cost-effective set up as condo owners typically desire more amenities at the complex and yet keep the maintenance fee to the minimum.  There are plenty of parking spaces – I have been in this complex many times on weekend afternoons and evenings and I usually managed to find a parking spot.  55 and 75 South Town Centre Blvd is a comparatively higher –rise building with 13 and 15 levels respectively. 30 and 32 Clegg Rd are 9-storey buildings.
