An important point when buying
When you are looking to get into the real estate market and make a purchase, there are a number of things that you should ask yourself and consider. A good realtor is always listening and asking questions, because when you move from house to house when viewing property it is not uncommon for your wants to change from one extreme to another.
Some things to consider: In which way do I want to build equity (or happiness).

What is your long term goal, (is this a home are an investment?)
If this is your home, think of the way you live in your current dwelling..........and will the current setup meet your needs? ex. are you more of a kitchen person or a living room person? If you spend alot of time in the kitchen, you are probably going to value the kitchen more then many of the other rooms.
When looking at the bedrooms think of your current one. Will your bedroom set fit in this bedroom? Is there closet space to accomodate what you need?
Although there is no such thing as a home you wont eventually have to invest some money into to maintain, if you need to make changes.......think of how minor/major they are, and see if it still fits your long term goal.
