I continue to marvel at the opportnity we have in this industry to interact with so many people in such a complex manner during the process of buying and selling real estate. It is such an emotionally charged series of steps that make up a transaction that start essentially as a blind date and transform into a close relationship.
So much of the great memories of home ownership start with the connection between the agent and the buyer or seller. Often these connections are formed after just a single meeting or phone call and quickly escalate into information sharing and disclosure of very private aspects of life.
As real estate professionals, we need to be aware of our role in the process. I take my role very seriously and protect the interests of my clients as I would hope someone would protect mine. I will continune to marvel at the way these relationships unfold and appreciatethe people I get to meet.
