The new Bennett bridge now has some added artwork at the Campbell Road Interchange. The Westbank First Nations contributed two beautiful pieces of art to remind those that drive by of the rich history that the band has in this area. For the complete story see Castanet.net

The wildfires of 2003 destroyed what many would consider a provincial landmark of sorts. The Myra Canyon Trestles were a major tourist draw for years until several of them were destroyed by the enormous fires in the Kelowna in 2003. Premier Gordon Campbell rededicated and reopened these important historical trestles over the weekend. I for one am certainly grateful ...
