A big welcome to Bruce McKay who will become the very first principal of the brand new Chute Lake Elementary in Kelowna's prestigious Kettle Vally neighbourhood. Bruce is currently the principal at Raymer Elementary and will be taking on his new role at Chute Lake Elementary later this fall.

These new carts are designed to speed up the garbage removal times for drivers and the strain on the garbage collectors themselves. The City of Vancouver has used this same system for many years now. The benefit of these containers is instead of random bags of garbage lying on the curbside which are easily rummaged through, you have a much more secure system. As always ...
