Big White Road slated to be resurfaced this summer
The Province Of British Columbia has awarded a $250,000 contract to resurface a two kilometre stretch of Big White Road north of Highway 33. The roadwork is scheduled to begin this summer and complete in September prior to the opening of the 2011 ski season.
The contract was awarded to Peter Bros. Construction Ltd. The much needed road repair is hoped to provide a smoother ride for tourists and local industry.
