Canada Day 2010 transit service in Kelowna BC

Kelowna and area residents are getting ready to celebrate Canada Day this coming Thursday, July 1,2010.
In response to anticipated heavier downtown traffic Kelowna Regional Transit will run additional bus services starting 1/2 hour after the completion of the fireworks from the Queensway bus station.
Residents are being encouraged to "go green" and reduce the number of vehicles heading to and from Kelowna's downtown core during Canada day celebrations.
Transit costs will be $2.00 for adults, $1.75 for students/seniors and free for children 12 years of age and younger (when accompanied by an adult).
For more details on Kelowna BC bus routes and times please visit BC Transit online or call the local BC Transit officer at (250) 860-8121.
Have a great Canada Day everyone!
Sincerely,
Jason Neumann
