Well Steven Harper and his minority Conservative Government announced billions in tax credits for Canadians today! In a effort to make the tax payers wallet a little less burdened Kelowna City Council met "overtime" and managed to trim some fat off the 2009 budget. As a result, the average home owner will pay approximately $55 more on this year's tax bill. I applaud Mayor Sharon Sheperd and city council for trimming what they were able to and save the taxpayers of Kelowna some monies. ...

WestJet expands Kelowna service by Glen Morrison - Power 104 - Story: 43853 Dec 30, 2008 / 5:00 am
WestJet is expanding its non-stop summer service from Kelowna to Calgary and Edmonton. The airline has announced its enhanced summer schedule which will include five daily flights from Calgary to Kelowna and four flights daily from Edmonton to Kelowna. The expanded service begins in July.
