There was much debate and even a vote as to what to name the former "Westside", "Wetsbank" of Kelowna and as a result the name "District of West Kelowna" was approved by the voting public! One thing that is still missing is a logo for the Okanagan's and BC's newest municipality. West Kelowna council now has a working logo (See Above Conceptual Logo) ...

I stopped by the RDCO website and checked it out for the new mapping system for myself and it certainly is an improvement over it's predecessor. I can see where consumers will benefit from the new map but as with all new product launches it still has some kinks to be worked out.
