The Province of B.C. and the City of Kelowna recently announced a $23.5 million partnership project to widen Highway 33 to four lanes between Muir Road and Gallagher Road. These new carts are designed to speed up the garbage removal times for drivers and the strain on the garbage collectors themselves. The City of Vancouver has used this same system for many years now. The benefit of these containers is instead of random bags of garbage lying on the curbside which are easily rummaged through, you have a much more secure system. As always ...
