The Province Of British Columbia has awarded a $250,000 contract to resurface a two kilometre stretch of Big White Road north of Highway 33. The roadwork is scheduled to begin this summer and complete in September prior to the opening of the 2011 ski season.

I took these photos in late Fall before we got ourselves buried in Okanagan snow! I have seen several of these electrical boxes from Westbank to Kelowna and Vernon. I am not entirely sure if this was done to curb the spray painting of them or as they term it "tagging" but it seems to have worked.
