Myra Canyon Trestles are now back open to the public!
The wildfires of 2003 destroyed what many would consider a provincial landmark of sorts. The Myra Canyon Trestles were a major tourist draw for years until several of them were destroyed by the enormous fires in the Kelowna in 2003. Premier Gordon Campbell rededicated and reopened these important historical trestles over the weekend. I for one am certainly grateful to all those individuals who spent tireless hours in rebuilding and restoring the trestles to their former stature.
