Some very unique and new uses for aluminum foil.

Here are some very interesting uses for aluminum foil that I came across:
- Protect your doorknobs. Painting? Wrap foil around doorknobs to prevent splatter - it's much easier than tape!
- Keep out the cold. Cover air-conditioning vents with layers of foil to keep cold drafts from coming into your home.
- Use less energy. Place a sheet of foil between your radiator and the wall to reflect heat back into the room.
- Easy ironing. Remove the cover of your ironing board wrap with foil and replace cover. The foil will absorb heat from your iron, giving the fabric a crisper, smoother finish.
- Platter in a pinch. Don't have the right size serving platter? Cover heavy cardboard with foil to create a makeshift decorative tray.
Out of the above list of suggested uses I will definately try out the ironing board one, as that sounds as though it just might work. There is also the "putting on of the foil" as the infamous Hansen brothers did in the cult hockey classic Slapshot. The only other use I would not suggest is chewing on foil, because if you have ever done it can be a "shocking" experience. Yes, I think I just might have been a little strange as a child! If you have any other uses for foil that have worked for you in the past please feel free to post them here.
