Sell Your Kitchener Waterloo Home Faster

Whether you are doing spring cleaning or preparing to sell your Kitchener Waterloo home, it's important not to forget your windows.  Selling your home often comes down to the fine details.  Clean windows allow in more light and, after a long winter, we could all use more of that.  As well, a buyer will form a better impression of the home and its surroundings.  Remember, windows are the eyes of a home and, like eyeglasses, it's important to keep them clean for best results.

When cleaning your windows, try to use environmentally friendly cleaning products.  My favourites are vinegar and newspaper which are surprisingly effective.

Most Kitchener Waterloo highrise condominiums contract window cleaners in the spring and the fall so be sure to bring this to the buyers attention if it's in between cleanings and your windows are looking a bit dull.

One other quick tip when preparing or staging your home for sale is to remove the window screens.  This will brighten up the curb appeal of the home and make for great photos both inside and out.  It will also show off your freshly cleaned windows.  Store the screens in the basement or garage and don't forget to put them back up for the buyer once your home is sold.

Regular readers of this blog will know there is one other fine detail not to ignore - call a Realtor to sell your home.  A Realtor can see the home through the eyes of a buyer and will provide real estate advice that could save you $1000's.  For Kitchener Waterloo home owners preparing to sell, I'm happy to provide "450 Ideas To Help Your Home Sell Faster".  For your free copy, just call, text or email 519-505-4488
