Top Ten Things I Love About Living In Westvale #2

It's often said been that the three most important things about real estate are location, location, location.  With that in mind, here is another of the top 10 things I love about living in the Westvale area of Waterloo.

#2 Location

Five minutes!  It's amazing how many important local points of interest are just 5 minutes away from Westvale.  Among these are Uptown Waterloo(great shopping and restaurants), Waterloo Town Square, Waterloo Public Library, Waterloo City Hall and the Waterloo Recreation Complex.  The historic Waterloo Hotel built in 1890 is pictured above.  Waterloo Park is equally close and an absolute jewel with softball diamonds, soccer fields, a bandshell for live music, a petting zoo, playgrounds and Lions Lagoon.  Two fine institutions of higher learning(University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University) are also in close proximity as is the David Johnston Research and Technology Park.  The Laurel Creek Conservation Area provides wonderful greenspace for hiking and returning to nature.  For commuters, the Conestoga Parkway known locally as the expressway is nearby.

Signs of spring are everywhere...birds singing, squirrels reappearing and more homes coming on the market in Westvale.  If you are planning a Westvale move, I'll be happy to provide assistance.  Feel free to call or email 519-505-4488 jeff.gingerich@century21.ca.
