Hamilton welcomes two award-winning Canadian performers

It’s 2014 and HECFI has an exciting line-up of musical acts set to take the stage in Hamilton over the next couple months. A great opportunity to get out of the house during the dreary winter months, make a fun outing of it and enjoy a fabulous meal at one of Hamilton’s great restaurants before you catch a live performance from one of these Canadian greats!

Chantal Kreviazuk set to perform at Hamilton Place

Chantal Kreviazuk will be performing live at Hamilton Place on Friday, February 7 at 7 p.m. A multiple JUNO award winner, Chantal Kreviazuk never considered a career in music until she began writing what would become her platinum-selling debut album during recovery from a serious motorcycle accident in 1994. Under These Rocks and Stones was released to widespread acclaim in 1997, and Chantal has since become one of Canada’s most beloved artists.

With a string of distinguished albums and singles, Chantal’s drive to expand her artistry has led her to become a highly sought-after songwriter, having penned hits for Pink, Avril Lavigne, Christina Aguilera, Carrie Underwood, and Drake, among many others.

Hedley returns to Copps Coliseum!

Canada’s very own Hedley will be returning to Copps Coliseum Wednesday, February 26 at 7 p.m. Multi-platinum Canadian pop stars and JUNO award winners, Hedley recently announced the coast-to-coast Wild Live Tour, in support of their fifth studio album, Wild Life. Kicking off in Prince George, B.C., the tour will be the band’s most extensive Canadian tour to date with more than 30 shows across the country. Joining Hedley on the first half of the tour until March 25 will be Danny Fernandes, JRDN and Alyssa Reid.

With four consecutive multiplatinum albums behind them - Hedley (2005), Famous Last Words (2007), The Show Must Go (2009), Storms (2011) – and almost a million albums sold, Hedley continues along their path to pop music supremacy with the release of Wild Life in November 2013. The new album bridges classic Hedley pop anthems and ballads along with R&B infused tracks and electro-pop tunes

Tickets for both performances can be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.ca, by phone at 1-855-872-5000 or at the FirstOntario Box Office at Copps Coliseum.
