On Saturday October 4th, The team at CENTURY 21 Millennium Inc., (Collingwood, Wasaga Beach, and Thornbury) took part in an amazing event to raise funds and awareness around violence against women. As a whole the event raised thirty two thousand dollars and our team raised over six thousand dollars... Support going to My Friends House! Of the over one hundred participants, the Century 21 Millennium team showed up with over thirty walkers, cheerleaders, bandage and water suppliers, and supporters. A Job well done and a brand well represented... Thank you
About the Cause
Realtors sell safe homes and safe communities... That’s what we do. Walking a Mile in Her Shoes is an opportunity for men to don Red High Heels and walk one mile to visibly showing that violence against women and children is NOT OK. The proceeds go to programs like My Friends House. A safe home within our community that offers help, support, and counselling to woman (and their children) escaping from domestic abuse. Every year they service over six hundred women in the Southern Georgian Bay region.
Inspiration and Dedication to the Team
A special thank you goes to the CENTURY 21 Millennium Inc., Brokers of Record... Joanne Evans & Martin Minda. It never stops amazing us how dedicated these two are in supporting community initiatives and their sales team. This whole effort began with their support and they inspired the CENTURY 21 Millennium Inc., Team to show our colors. We are fortunate to have such loving and generous owners... Our dedication was definitely noticed and appreciated!
Team CENTURY 21 Millennium Inc.
A Huge round of applause to every member of our sales team. The event was not just the walk.... it was the fundraising, TV presentation, sharing of awareness to our family of customers, the baking, band-aids, and camaraderie, and most of all it was the friendship and laughter that our company alludes. We did a great job for a great cause! Thank you.
